In this episode, Sandy and Nora discuss how systemic racism operates within democratic structures, and the need for renewal. They talk about the Green Party, the NDP and more broadly within the left.

One comment on “Episode 169 – Confronting systemic, institutional racism”
At 10:50 as you begin to talk about the Jim Harris interview Sandy claims Jim said Annamie Paul “was saying she experienced anti-black racism but that she didn’t, she absolutely didn’t”.
Literally the first thing Jim Harris says in response to Evan’s question in the interview is “I have no doubt that Annamie Paul has experienced discrimination”.
NOWHERE in the interview does Harris claim Annamie Paul did not experience anti-black racism. I listened carefully to the whole interview.
Sandy simply lies about it.
Very poor journalism. Sadly, Sandy proves herself to be an utterly untrustworthy source who just fabricates things to discredit truthful narratives she doesn’t want to be heard.
