Story 3 – Ottawa police have allegedly spied on Somali officers. Five Somali officers are now suing the force.

Story 4 – Are the Liberals on track to lose this Montreal by-election?

Story 5 – Turkish-American peace activist murdered by Israeli forces in the West Bank

Story 6 – UN calls for security force to protect civilians in Sudan as the war between the military and the RSF continues to ravage the civilian population.

Story 2 – Ontatio Ombudsman to investigate the practice of child welfare agencies housing children in hotels, motels, trailors and office buildings.

Story 3 – Officials are worried that a list of 900 Nazi collaborators created in 1986 will embarass Canada if it’s released.

Story 4 – Abousfian Abdelrazik still waiting for his day in court as the Crown tries to push some of their witnesses to be allowed to tesitfy in camera.

Story 5 – 99,000 Mpox vaccines arrive in the DRC and more are on their way.

Story 1 – Police kill woman in park while driving like “a bat out of hell” in Winnipeg. CBC News gives more airtime to the true victims in this, the driver of the car, than to the family of the victim.

Story 2 – At a rally condeming the recent police murder by car, a protester was struck by a driver who drove through the rally. CTV News asks Winnipeg Police for comment, despite them having just done the same thing the day earlier, but deadlier.

Story 3 – The sucking and blowing deal is off! The NDP experiments with doing politics again.

Story 4 – Negligence, greed and lies at the heart of the preventable Grenfall Tower tragedy, report finds.

Story 5 – At least 21 people, Syrians and Sudanese, have died after their boat capsized off an Italian island.

Story 6 – At least 81 people were killed in an attack in northern Nigeria after Boko Haram targets a village that police say had been working with the Nigerian military to push against the militant group.

Story 3 – Scotiabank is funding Elbit Systems at a rate that is far greater than any of the other big 6 Canadian banks (though all have some money with the Israeli arms dealer).

Story 4 – Ugandan Olympic marathoner burned and severely injured in a case of apparent intimate partner violence.

Story 5 – Missiles strike military school in Ukraine, killing more than 50 people — seemingly the largest attack by Russia since they invaded 2 1/2 years ago.

Story 5 – Far right party in Germany poised to make gains in easter part of the country.
